We can cut virtually any flat material, from Soft Materials (Wood, Rubber & Plastics) to Hard Materials (Steel, Aluminium & Glass). However, we cannot cut tempered glass. Look through the Material page here to find out more or get in touch.
We can create our own files from your sketch, photo, dimensions or template using our Tracing Table. Or you could provide us with a .DXF, .DWG, Adobe Illustrator, CAD or PDF file. If you're still unsure, get in touch.
We have a minimum charge of $45 +GST and costs can vary due to different factors.
These include:
Cutting Time
Type of Material & Thickness
Design Time
Accuracy & Finish Quality

Waterjets use high-pressure pumps to force water through a tiny orifice inside a nozzle, creating a narrow, high-velocity jetstream. With our machine, fine abrasive particles (garnet) are pulled into the jetstream within the nozzle, turning it into a high-speed liquid sandpaper that erodes and cuts through most materials.
You can learn more about Waterjets here.
For flat materials, around 0.1mm to 150mm and 150mm to 200mm+ with special jigs.
Laser cutting works by directing the output of our 150W high-power laser through optics/lenses. This focused laser beam is directed at the material, which either melts, burns or vaporizes away leaving a precision edge with a high-quality finish. The laser is CNC controlled for precision, while also allowing us to set its power and the speed at which the laser moves across the material.
Laser engraving essentially works the same as Laser cutting apart from a few differences. By using low power and high speed the laser doesn’t have enough time or power to cut through the material and instead lightly engraves the surface of the material.
Many types of wood, paper, gasket materials, leather, cork and plastics. Although we won’t cut some plastics on the laser as they release harmful fumes, however, they can be cut on the waterjet safely.
Wood, plastics, leather, glass and stainless steel.
